Vállsérülés

Vállsérülés refers to damage or injury to the shoulder joint and its surrounding structures. The shoulder is a complex ball-and-socket joint that allows for a wide range of motion, making it susceptible to various types of injuries. Common vállsérülések include rotator cuff tears, shoulder dislocations, impingement syndrome, and frozen shoulder.

Rotator cuff tears involve damage to the group of muscles and tendons that surround the shoulder joint, often caused by overuse, trauma, or degeneration. Shoulder dislocations occur when the head of the humerus bone is forced out of the shoulder socket, usually due to a fall or direct impact. Impingement syndrome is characterized by pain and inflammation when the rotator cuff tendons are squeezed between the bones of the shoulder, typically during overhead arm movements. Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a condition that causes stiffness and pain in the shoulder joint, limiting its range of motion.

Diagnosis typically involves a physical examination, medical history, and imaging tests such as X-rays, MRI, or ultrasound.
