Vysokopropustné

Vysokopropustné is a Czech term that translates to "high-pass" in English, most commonly used in the context of filters or signals. A high-pass filter is a type of electronic filter that allows signals with a higher frequency than a certain cutoff frequency to pass through while attenuating, or reducing the amplitude of, signals with frequencies lower than the cutoff frequency.

In signal processing, a vysokopropustný filter is used to remove low-frequency components from a signal. This can be useful for various applications, such as removing DC offset from an audio signal, eliminating unwanted hum or rumble in recordings, or isolating high-frequency components for analysis. The characteristic of a high-pass filter is defined by its cutoff frequency, which is the point at which the filter begins to significantly attenuate signals.
