Vorsteckschaltung
Vorsteckschaltung is a term used in German electronics for a modular circuit stage that is plugged in ahead of a main circuit stage to influence signals before they reach the core processing path. The idea is to insert a dedicated network between preceding circuitry and the rest of the device in order to modify characteristics such as impedance, frequency response, or bias conditions without altering the primary circuit board.
