Voolumõõtmine, also known as flow measurement, is the process of quantifying the rate at which a fluid, such as a liquid or gas, passes through a particular point or system. This measurement is crucial in numerous industrial, scientific, and commercial applications for controlling processes, ensuring safety, optimizing efficiency, and billing for consumed resources.

Various methods and instruments are employed for voolumõõtmine, each suited to different fluid properties, flow rates, and accuracy requirements. Common types of flow meters include differential pressure meters, such as orifice plates and Venturi tubes, which measure flow based on the pressure difference created by a restriction.
