Volksempfänger
The Volksempfänger, meaning "People's Receiver," was a series of low-cost radios produced in Germany by the Nazi regime. The first models, the VE301, were introduced in 1933 to coincide with the anniversary of Hitler's rise to power. The explicit goal was to make radio reception accessible to all Germans, thereby enabling the government to disseminate propaganda effectively.
