Vlieland
Vlieland is a West Frisian island in the Netherlands, located between the islands of Texel and Terschelling. It is the second smallest inhabited island of the West Frisian chain. The island is part of the province of North Holland and is a municipality. Its only village is Oost-Vlieland.
The island is known for its natural beauty, including extensive beaches, dunes, and a diverse bird population.
Historically, Vlieland was part of the mainland before being separated by a storm in the 13th century.
