Violtum
Violtum is a rare and unique mineral species, first discovered in the late 20th century. It is characterized by its vibrant purple color, which is due to the presence of trace amounts of the element violinium, a hypothetical element that has not yet been synthesized or observed in nature. The mineral is found in small, crystalline formations within the cracks of certain igneous rocks, typically in regions with a high concentration of radioactive elements.
The name "violtum" is derived from the Latin words "violaceus," meaning purple, and "tum," meaning a small
The crystal structure of violtum is hexagonal, with a hardness of approximately 3.5 on the Mohs scale.
Violtum is not yet recognized by the International Mineralogical Association (IMA), as the existence of violinium
