Vijñnevara
Vijñnevara was an 11th-century Indian jurist and philosopher, known primarily for his work on Hindu law. He is best known for his treatise, the Mitakshara, which became one of the most influential and authoritative texts on the Dayabhaga school of Hindu law, particularly in the western and southern regions of India. The Mitakshara provided a systematic interpretation and commentary on the Yajnavalkya Smriti, an ancient legal text.
