Videod was a concept for a personal video device that was envisioned in the early 1980s. The idea was to create a portable, battery-powered unit that could record and play back video, similar to a modern camcorder or portable media player. Unlike existing VCRs, which were bulky and required connection to a television, Videod was intended to have its own small screen.
