Vesisidosuhde
Vesisidosuhde refers to the bond or relationship that exists between water molecules. This is primarily due to the polarity of water molecules. Oxygen is more electronegative than hydrogen, meaning it attracts electrons more strongly. This creates a partial negative charge on the oxygen atom and partial positive charges on the hydrogen atoms. When water molecules are near each other, the partially positive hydrogen atom of one molecule is attracted to the partially negative oxygen atom of another molecule. This attractive force is known as a hydrogen bond.
Hydrogen bonds are weaker than covalent bonds (the bonds within a single water molecule) but are collectively
