Vesikalorimetrejä
Vesikalorimetrejä, known in English as water calorimeters, are devices used in scientific and industrial settings to measure heat transfer. They are a type of calorimeter, which is an instrument used to measure the energy changes associated with chemical reactions or physical processes. The principle behind a water calorimeter is to use water as a medium to absorb or release heat. By measuring the temperature change of a known mass of water, the amount of heat absorbed or released can be calculated using the formula Q = mcΔT, where Q is heat, m is mass, c is specific heat capacity of water, and ΔT is the change in temperature.
These calorimeters are often constructed with an insulated container to minimize heat exchange with the surroundings.
Vesikalorimetrejä find applications in various fields. They are commonly used in educational institutions to demonstrate thermodynamic
