Verotustietoja

Verotustietoja is a Finnish term that refers to information related to taxation. It covers data about a person’s or a business’s taxes, including income, deductions, tax credits, withholdings, and other items used to determine tax liability and assess tax status.

In Finland, verotustietoja are collected and maintained by the Finnish Tax Administration (Verohallinto). The data underpin the calculation of taxes, the issuance of tax cards (verokortti), and the annual tax return (veroilmoitus). A significant portion of individual tax information can be used to pre-fill portions of the tax return based on records from employers, pension authorities, and other sources.

Individuals can view and download their own verotustietoja through digital services such as OmaVero (the online tax portal) and may request copies or corrections from Verohallinto.
