Venyt

Venyt is a fictional planet located in the fictional Xylos star system, approximately 250 light-years from Earth. It is a terrestrial world, roughly 1.2 times the size of Earth, with a slightly higher gravitational pull. The planet's atmosphere is rich in nitrogen and oxygen, with trace amounts of argon and methane, making it breathable for humans with minor augmentation.

The surface of Venyt is characterized by vast, rolling plains covered in a bioluminescent flora that emits a soft, ethereal glow during the planet's extended twilight periods. Towering crystalline formations, known as "sky-shards," punctuate the landscape, reaching hundreds of meters into the atmosphere. These formations are believed to be the result of ancient geological processes and are a significant source of rare minerals.

Venyt has a single, large moon named Lumina, which casts a prominent, silvery light upon the planet's surface. The planet experiences two distinct seasons: a warm, wet period followed by a cooler, drier season. The average surface temperature hovers around 20 degrees Celsius.

Initial exploratory missions have indicated the presence of microbial life and simple plant organisms. No complex animal life has yet been definitively identified, though unusual energy signatures have been detected in deep subterranean caverns, prompting further investigation. The Xylos star is a G-type main-sequence star, similar to Earth's sun, providing ample light and energy to Venyt.
