Vefsna

Vefsna is a municipality located in Nordland county, Norway. It is situated in the Helgeland region of the county and is known for its varied landscape, encompassing coastal areas, fjords, and inland mountains. The administrative center of Vefsna is the town of Mosjøen, which is the largest town in the Helgeland region.

The municipality's economy has historically been influenced by agriculture, forestry, and fishing. In recent times, tourism has also become increasingly important, with visitors drawn to the natural beauty of the area, including attractions like the Seven Sisters mountain range (De syv søstre), although these are technically located in the neighboring municipality of Alstahaug, but are a prominent landmark visible from parts of Vefsna.
