Vashs

Vashs are a fictional sapient species in the science fiction setting known as the Veridian Expanse. They are native to a temperate world in the outer Veridian cluster and are noted for cooperative social structures and biotechnology. The name ‘Vash’ denotes both people and language families.

Physically, Vashs are bipedal and typically stand 1.75–1.95 meters tall. Their skin ranges from copper-toned to pale blue and often bears iridescent patches. They have a crescent-shaped cranial crest, large forward-facing eyes, and four fingers on each hand. Lifespans run about 120–140 years.

Ecology and technology: Vashs are omnivorous and rely on forest-based agriculture enhanced by ecological engineering.
