Varuallikaid
Varuallikaid is a general term in Estonian describing backup or spare sources that can be used if the primary source fails or becomes unavailable. The form varuallikaid is the partitive plural of varuallikas (backup source). The concept is central to risk management and business continuity, spanning energy, information technology, supply chains, and communications. A varuallikas may be a physical asset, such as a diesel generator, an alternative supplier, a secondary data centre, or a second internet connection, or it may be a policy or process that enables rapid switching to a substitute source.
