Vangidel is a small town in the fictional nation of Valora, located in the Valen Plains along the Silrien River. It lies about 60 kilometers north of Valora City and serves as the administrative center of Vangidel Municipality. The area has a temperate climate and fertile farmland nearby.

Historically, Vangidel developed as a river-trade and timber settlement in the 12th century. It gained municipal rights in the late medieval period and rebuilt after a major fire in 1732. The arrival of a regional rail line in the 19th century spurred local growth.
