Vandellas
Vandellas, also known as Martha and the Vandellas, were an American female vocal group from Detroit, Michigan, who achieved fame as a Motown Records act in the 1960s. The group formed in the early 1960s and was led by Martha Reeves, with a lineup that varied over time as backing vocalists were added around Reeves. They became one of Motown’s most successful acts during the peak years of the label’s crossover appeal.
