Valmuori

Valmuori is a coastal city-state on the western shore of the fictional continent of Elaria. It serves as the capital of the Valmori Prefecture and a major hub for maritime trade, finance, and culture. The city lies at the mouth of the Valnar River, sheltered by a crescent bay and backed by low hills. The port accommodates fishing fleets, merchant ships, and a growing light-industrial sector, while tourism centers on its medieval core and waterfront.

Valmuori traces its origins to early seafaring guilds in the 9th century. It gained status as an autonomous city-state in the 12th century, expanded through trade routes across the western seas, and experienced a cultural and commercial renaissance in the 14th–16th centuries. In the modern era, Valmuori has developed a diversified economy and joined regional economic agreements, maintaining a reputation for craft trades and financial services.
