Valkyriea

Valkyriea is a mythical figure from Norse mythology. These female figures are depicted as choosers of the slain, who guide worthy warriors from the battlefield to the hall of Valhalla. Odin, the chief god, is said to command them. Their appearance is often described as majestic, riding steeds through the air, their armor gleaming.

The term "Valkyriea" itself is thought to derive from Old Norse words meaning "chooser of the slain."
