Valaistusilmiöitä
Valaistusilmiöitä, or lighting phenomena, encompass a wide range of natural and artificial events involving light. These can include atmospheric optical illusions such as rainbows, halos, and auroras, which are caused by the interaction of light with water droplets, ice crystals, or charged particles in the atmosphere. The appearance of a rainbow, for instance, is a result of sunlight refracting and reflecting within raindrops, splitting white light into its constituent colors. Halos are similar, often formed by ice crystals in high-altitude clouds, creating rings of light around the sun or moon. Auroras, or polar lights, are electromagnetic displays caused by the collision of solar wind particles with atoms in the Earth's magnetosphere, primarily near the poles.
Beyond atmospheric effects, valaistusilmiöitä can also refer to phenomena related to artificial lighting. This includes effects
