Utopiens
Utopiens are people who advocate for, or live in, utopian communities or who conceive utopian societies in theory or fiction. The term derives from utopia, a word coined by Thomas More in 1516 for an imagined ideal society on an island, and it has since been used to describe both real and imagined perfect communities. In scholarly and political discourse, utopians are writers and thinkers who propose systematic arrangements believed to yield social harmony, justice, and abundance, often as a critique of existing institutions.
