Upptalningu

Upptalningu is the process of enumerating or listing items in a sequence, or counting the elements of a set. In Icelandic usage, upptalningu covers both rhetorical listing and formal counting, and it can refer to any act of presenting items in a series, step by step, or to the mathematical practice of counting objects.
