UniversityNorthern

UniversityNorthern is a public research university established in 1924, located in the northern region of the United States. The main campus is in Northfield, with several satellite campuses in neighboring communities, and online programs accessible nationwide. The university enrolls about 21,000 students and offers more than 150 degree programs across undergraduate, graduate, and professional tracks.

Founded as a technical institute focused on engineering and agriculture, UniversityNorthern expanded after World War II and achieved university status in 1968 following a merger with several local colleges.
