Underkastar

Underkastar is a Swedish verb meaning to subject or subjugate, bringing someone or something under control, authority, or a system of rules. The word is formed from the prefix under- (meaning beneath or beneath in a figurative sense) and the verb kasta (to cast or throw), with the figurative development to place under someone’s command.
