ultrakõrglahutus, often abbreviated as UHD, refers to display resolutions that are significantly higher than Full HD (1080p). The most common UHD resolution is 3840 pixels horizontally by 2160 pixels vertically, which is roughly four times the number of pixels in Full HD. This density of pixels results in a much sharper and more detailed image, making fine textures and distant objects appear clearer.

Beyond 3840x2160, a higher resolution known as 8K UHD exists, with a resolution of 7680 pixels horizontally by 4320 pixels vertically. This offers an even greater level of detail and is sometimes referred to as 4K UHD or simply 4K when distinguishing it from the lower Full HD resolution. The term "ultrakõrglahutus" encompasses these superior resolutions, providing a more immersive and lifelike viewing experience on compatible displays and with appropriate content.
