UbstadtWeiher

Ubstadt-Weiher is a municipality in the district of Karlsruhe in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is located in the Upper Rhine Plain, approximately 15 kilometers north of Karlsruhe. The municipality was formed in 1972 through the merger of the formerly independent communities of Ubstadt, Weiher, and Zeutern.

The area has a long history, with evidence of settlement dating back to Roman times. Ubstadt is known for its historical buildings, including the St. Sebastian Church, which features a Romanesque tower. Weiher, on the other hand, is recognized for its picturesque landscape and its connection to viticulture. Zeutern is the largest of the three constituent parts and serves as the administrative center.
