Ubeillesztés is a technical term used in Hungarian that designates the process of inserting a component into a counterpart so that surfaces align flush, forming a joint. In many contexts, it is treated as a subset of beillesztés (insertion), with emphasis on the precision of fit and the final geometry of the joint.

Usage and scope: The term is used across crafts and industries, including woodworking, cabinetry, metal fabrication, plastics manufacturing, and electronics housings. It covers various types of joints where a piece is inserted into a recess, groove, slot, or cavity, such as inserts, plugs, or veneers.

Techniques and process: The process typically involves preparing both parts: shaping a receiving cavity and the mating piece to proper dimensions, ensuring alignment and surface finish.
