USHL
The United States Hockey League, commonly known as the USHL, is an amateur ice hockey league in the United States. It is the highest level of junior hockey in the country and is considered one of the premier junior leagues in the world. The league is comprised of 16 member teams located across the Midwest and Northeastern United States. The USHL is a Tier I league, meaning its players are typically 16 to 20 years old and are not being paid. The league operates on a fall-to-spring schedule, with a regular season followed by playoffs to determine the Clark Cup champion.
USHL teams are independent franchises and are not affiliated with NHL teams. However, many USHL players are
