US101

US Route 101, often referred to as U.S. Highway 101 or The 101, is a major north-south U.S. Highway that runs along the Pacific coast of the United States. It begins at the Mexican border in Tecate, California, and travels north through California, Oregon, and Washington, ending at the Canadian border near Port Angeles, Washington. The highway is notable for its extensive scenic views, particularly along the coastlines of California and Oregon.

In California, US 101 is a vital transportation corridor, passing through major metropolitan areas like Los Angeles and San Francisco. It is the primary north-south route through many of California's coastal communities. The route often shares alignment with other highways, such as Interstate 5 in some sections.
