URISpezifikationen, often translated as URI Specification, refers to the set of rules and standards that define Uniform Resource Identifiers (URIs). URIs are a fundamental concept on the internet, serving as a standardized way to identify resources. These resources can be anything from web pages and files to abstract concepts or services.

The core of URI specifications lies in their structure. A URI generally consists of several components, including a scheme, authority, path, query, and fragment. The scheme (e.g., `http`, `https`, `ftp`, `mailto`) indicates the protocol used to access the resource. The authority typically includes a domain name and potentially a port. The path specifies the location of the resource within the authority. The query part, denoted by a question mark, allows for passing parameters, and the fragment, identified by a hash symbol, points to a specific section within a resource.

These specifications are maintained by organizations like the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) through various Request for Comments (RFCs). Key RFCs, such as RFC 3986, define the syntax and semantics of URIs, ensuring interoperability across different systems and applications.
