UCl5

UCl5, or uranium pentachloride, is a chemical compound with the formula UCl5. It is a white crystalline solid that is highly reactive and sensitive to moisture. UCl5 is primarily used in the nuclear fuel cycle as an intermediate in the production of uranium hexafluoride (UF6), a key material in the enrichment of uranium for nuclear power and weapons.
