Tüsszentést

Tüsszentést is the Hungarian word for sneezing. Sneezing is a sudden, involuntary expulsion of air from the nose and mouth. It is a reflex action that helps to clear the nasal passages of irritants such as dust, pollen, or viruses. The reflex is triggered by stimulation of the mucous membranes in the nose. When these membranes are irritated, nerve signals are sent to the brain, which then initiates the sneeze reflex.

It is generally considered polite in most cultures to cover one's mouth and nose when sneezing to prevent the spread of germs. In Hungarian culture, it is customary for someone to say "Egészségedre" (to your health) after a person sneezes, similar to saying "Bless you" in English.
