Täideta

Täideta is a term found in discussions of the Estonian language, typically described as a form related to the verb täita, meaning to fill or to fulfill. In contemporary standard Estonian, this particular form is not common in everyday usage and is mainly encountered in linguistic descriptions, historical grammars, or specialized contexts. Because it is not part of the productive modern system, its exact status and function can vary between sources.

In grammars that address older or more formal varieties of Estonian, täideta is sometimes presented as a passive or impersonal variant connected to the infinitive of täita. Contemporary language users generally avoid relying on this form in favor of more common constructions, such as the past participle täidetud (filled) or the negative or uncompleted form täitmata (unfilled, not filled). As a result, täideta is best understood as a theoretical or archaic form rather than a frequently occurring one in modern Estonian.
