Tähtisynteesissä
Tähtisynteesissä is a Finnish term that translates to "stellar nucleosynthesis" in English. It refers to the process by which elements are created within stars. Stars are essentially cosmic furnaces where lighter atomic nuclei fuse together under immense pressure and heat to form heavier elements. This process is the primary source of most elements in the universe, with the exception of the lightest elements like hydrogen and helium, which were formed during the Big Bang.
The journey of element creation begins with the Big Bang, which produced the initial hydrogen and helium.
Elements heavier than iron are primarily formed in more energetic events, such as supernovae, the explosive
