Tähtimuotoisen

Tähtimuotoisen is a Finnish adjective meaning "star-shaped". It is used to describe objects or phenomena that have a form resembling a star. This can include celestial bodies like stars, but also terrestrial objects that exhibit a radial symmetry with points extending outwards.

In geometry, a star polygon is a type of non-convex polygon. It is constructed by connecting vertices of a convex polygon. The number of points a star shape has is often indicated, for example, a five-pointed star is called a "viisikärkinen tähtimuotoinen" object.
