Tájékoztatásának

Tájékoztatás (and its form tájékoztatásának) is a Hungarian noun that denotes information, notification, or a briefing. The base word tájékoztatás originates from the verb tájékoztatni, meaning to inform, and it is formed with the nominalizing suffix -ás. The possessive or genitive form tájékoztatásának is used to express ownership, relation, or attribution of the informing or the content of the informing, for example when one speaks about “the informing’s content” or “the obligation to inform.”

Grammatical use and meaning. Tájékoztatásának is a suffixal form that marks a subject as possessing or being related to the informing. It appears primarily in formal or legal, administrative, and organizational texts, and it is common when specifying whose informing is being discussed or what aspects of the informing apply. For instance: “A vállalat tájékoztatásának tartalma világos volt” (The content of the company's informing was clear); “A jogszabály előírja a tájékoztatásának kötelezettségét” (The law prescribes the obligation to inform). In everyday speech, speakers more often use the simple tájékoztatás vagy tájékoztatásról, depending on the syntactic structure.

Contextual relevance. In public administration, data protection, and corporate communications, különösen gyakori a tájékoztatásának kifejezés, amikor a felek jogai és kötelezettségei közötti információáramlást, vagy a tartalmi elemek meghatározását írják le. A kifejezés tehát a konkrét információs tevékenység és annak tartalmára utal, és a szöveg kontextusától függően eltérő pontos jelentéssel bír.
