Työllistämisviranomaiset
Työllistämisvelvoite, often translated as employment obligation or job creation requirement, is a legal concept primarily found in Finnish employment law. It refers to a situation where an employer may be obligated to offer employment to certain individuals under specific circumstances. This obligation can arise in various contexts, such as in connection with business transfers, mergers, or acquisitions. When a business or part of a business is transferred to a new owner, employees associated with that business typically have their employment transferred to the new employer. In some cases, the Työllistämisvelvoite may extend to offering employment to former employees who were laid off due to restructuring or downsizing, if suitable positions become available.
The specific conditions and scope of the Työllistämisvelvoite are detailed in Finnish legislation, particularly the Act
