Txistularitza
Txistularitza is the Basque art of playing the txistu, a traditional Basque woodwind instrument. The txistu is a three-holed flute, typically made of wood, which is played with the left hand. The right hand is used to play a small drum, known as a tamboril, which is attached to the txistu player's wrist. This unique combination allows for melodic playing on the flute while simultaneously providing rhythmic accompaniment from the drum.
