Tushunadi

Tushunadi is the present tense form of the Uzbek verb tushunmoq, meaning "to understand." It expresses that someone understands something and is used with third-person singular subjects, either stated or understood from context.

Grammatically, tushunadi is formed from the root tushun- plus the infinitive suffix -moq, with the present tense marker -di for the third-person singular. In Uzbek, the subject pronoun is often omitted, so tushunadi can stand alone when the subject is clear.

Usage examples include: "U mavzuni yaxshi tushunadi" (He understands the topic well); "Bu ma'lumotni tushunadi" (He/She understands this information). The negative form is "tushunmaydi" (does not understand), and the past tense is "tushundi" (understood). The term also appears in questions like "Sen bu narsani tushunasanmi?" (Do you understand this?).
