Turvasäiet

Turvasäiet is a Finnish term that translates to "safety threads" or "security threads." In the context of currency and important documents, turvasäiet refer to integrated security features designed to prevent counterfeiting. These threads are typically incorporated into the paper during the manufacturing process.

There are various types of turvasäiet, each offering a different level of security. Some common forms include visible threads that run through the entire length of the banknote or document.
