TurboGs
TurboGs, also known as TurboGrafx-16 or PC Engine, is a 16-bit home video game console developed by NEC Home Electronics and Hudson Soft. It was released in Japan in 1987 and in North America in 1989. The console is notable for its unique CD-ROM add-on, the TurboGrafx-CD, which was released in 1990. TurboGs games are known for their distinctive graphics and sound, which were ahead of their time for a 16-bit console.
The TurboGrafx-16 was designed to compete with the Sega Genesis and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
