Tuottolaskentamenetelmä, often translated as the income approach or earnings valuation method, is a valuation technique used in finance and accounting to determine the value of an asset or business. The core principle of this method is that the value of an asset is derived from the future income it is expected to generate. Instead of focusing on the asset's historical cost or replacement cost, the tuottolaskentamenetelmä looks forward to the potential earnings stream.
