Tulostuspinnat
Tulostuspinnat, also known as the "exhaust pinion," is a critical component in the exhaust system of internal combustion engines. It is a small gear that is integral to the operation of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system. The EGR system is designed to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by recirculating a portion of the exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber. The tulostuspinnat works in conjunction with the tulostuspyörä, or exhaust camshaft, to control the flow of exhaust gases.
The tulostuspinnat is typically driven by the engine's crankshaft and is synchronized with the exhaust camshaft
In modern vehicles, the tulostuspinnat is often made from high-strength materials such as steel or aluminum
