Tucows Inc. is a public technology company that provides domain name registration, DNS, SSL, and other cloud services, along with mobile and fiber internet access through its Ting brand. The company operates consumer domains via its Hover registrar, and wholesale domain services through OpenSRS, serving partners and resellers worldwide. In addition, Tucows runs Ting, a mobile virtual network operator in the United States and Canada, and Ting Internet, a fiber-based broadband service offered in select markets. The company markets itself as an open internet infrastructure provider, with a focus on wholesale software and network services for developers, operators, and businesses.

Tucows traces its origins to 1993, when Scott Swedorski founded The Tucows Group as a shareware distribution site. The name allegedly stood for The Ultimate Collection of Winsock Software. The company grew rapidly as a software download hub and became a public company in the mid-1990s. In the 2000s the company reorganized to focus on internet infrastructure and wholesale services, shifting away from consumer software distribution and expanding its domain and cloud services portfolio. It relocated its headquarters to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and expanded internationally through acquisitions and partnerships.
