Trufluðu is a traditional narrative performance from the fictional archipelago of Eldara. The term refers to a composite art form that blends spoken tale, ritual chant, and audience call-and-response, historically performed by a small troupe around a communal fire. The repertoire centers on sea travel, migration, and communal memory, and the performance is characterized by musical language, rhythmic repetition, and mnemonic refrain lines that guide listeners through the episode.

The performance is typically organized into three sections: invocation, where ancestral voices are called and permissions granted to tell; the core narrative, delivered by a lead storyteller with a chorus providing echoing refrains; and the closure, where the tale is distilled into a moral or communal insight and participants share memories or seeds that listeners can remember.
