Tranzaksioni

Tranzaksioni is a term used in Albanian to denote the act of exchanging goods, services, or monetary value between two or more parties. The word derives from Latin transactio and is used in economics, law, and information technology to refer to a discrete agreement that results in the transfer of value, rights, or obligations.

In economics, a transaction involves an offer, acceptance, and the transfer of compensation; it can be monetary or barter and may occur within markets, between firms, or across borders.

In bookkeeping, a transaction is a record that affects at least two accounts and documents the date, parties, amount, and purpose. Accurate recording supports financial reporting under standards such as IFRS or GAAP.

In information technology, a database transaction is a sequence of operations that must succeed or fail as a unit. It should be atomic, consistent, isolated, and durable (ACID). If a step fails, the system may roll back the entire transaction to preserve data integrity; concurrent transactions require isolation to avoid conflicts.
