Transported

Transported is the past tense and past participle of the verb transport. In its most common sense, it describes the act of conveying or moving people, goods, or materials from one location to another, by rail, road, air, sea, or other means. It is often used in passive constructions, as in “goods were transported across the country.”

Historically, “transportation” refers to a penal practice in which criminals were sent to distant colonies as punishment. In science fiction and fantasy, “transport” and its past participle “transported” describe teleportation or instantaneous transfer to another location or dimension, as in “the hero was transported to another world.”
