TransPacifisch is a term that can refer to several different concepts, most commonly associated with the Pacific Ocean. One prominent usage is the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a proposed trade agreement between eleven Pacific Rim countries. Negotiations for this agreement began in 2010 and concluded in 2015, but the United States withdrew from the pact in 2017.
