Torfbæja
Torfbæja, also known as Torfbæjarhreppur, is a former municipality in the northern part of Iceland. It was located in the Norður-Múlasýsla district, in the Northeast Region. The municipality was established in 1907 and was dissolved in 1998 when it merged with the neighboring municipalities of Norðurþing and Tjörneshreppur to form the new municipality of Norðurþing.
